Ripping QUALITY AND PRICE
This turn over switch is very high quality (made in USA). It comes pre-wired, i.e., all wires for all 10 circuits are go red coded and lettered. With the clear cut directions provided, I was able to wire all circuits lawfully first time, and I'm just a homeowner. If hiring an electrician, cost would be reduced as there's lots less labor than some other brands on the market. I ran the completed item first on regular house current from the utility company, then from our new generator: everything worked great. Also, the charge is extremely competitive: some other units cost up to $400 more. Great product and price!

Reliance Wheel 50-200 Amp Utility Subpanel for up to 12,500-Watt Generators #TTV2005C
This panel was installed in a new edifice. It works fine with line power from the power pole, just like any other 200 Amp Utility Subpanel. What I like about the generator hookup is that it's basic and straight forward. It only costs 3 times as much as a non-generator panel.
My prior research into using a stalemate generator showed me that if you do it the "usual way" (as presented by backup system makers and sellers), it will cost a kismet, as you have to buy specialized cables and boxes, and you will have to have it installed by an electrician who may not know anything about this unless he reads the instructions like you would. I discovered this by visiting with a number of electrical contractors - I was open-mouthed at their ignorance in this area.
This particular panel hooks up to utility power just like other panels of its tolerant. To hook up the generator, I built a small "house" (4' Height, 4' Diameter, 3' Depth, large enough to comfortably fit generators up to 12,500 Watts, and 12' in another place from the house). I buried a 10 gauge 4-wire line from the panel to the generator company, ending in a 4-prong twist-lock plug that fits the 240V generator casket (this receptacle shows the plug's part number). The "normal" way, a plug would cost $60-80, the cablegram $280+, a separate 'inside' sub-box costing anywhere from $400 to $2,000 (from manual to fancy inescapable operation) and an outside box for another $140. At Home Depot, the plug was $18, the cable $40 for 20 feet plus $12 for the hoary PVC pipe and pipe fittings to bury the cable. The cable is easily wired to the preferential panel as per the Reliance panel's instructions. We had no problem with the electrical inspector.
The "normal" way, you can only hook up unrestricted circuits in your house, like the kitchen circuit or the bathroom circuit. You have no individual choices for any discrete to items you need to run during a power outage. We listed all lights and appliances with their individual watt requirements. We selected what we needed, made dependable that the total Watts were below the generator's capacity (including 25 percent extra "bulge" Watts for items that were motorized in any way - like a refrigerator or window AC). Our final list includes everything we for power for that stays witin the total generator Watt limit. We use individual oil-flooded heaters in specific rooms for heat, as central heating requires tons of Watts. Unless you have idiosyncratic window AC units like we do, your central AC will also most likely be beyond the Watt limit, and you will have to suffer.
When we have a power outage, we ban off everything that has a switch, meaning the refrigerator/freezer stays on, and one light (60 Watt or less) per allowance. Then we only use what is on our list - No Problemo!
The Reliance Control Panel has a mechanical interlock between line power and generator power. This means that when one is switched on, the other is studied off. There is no way you can fry your generator, nor can you crossfeed into the utility lines to fry some poor lineman down the road who is trying to fix the electrical outage.

Very Practical Transfer Panel
Virtuous finished installing the Reliance 31410CRK generator transfer panel and love it. Here in New Hampshire the power many a time burps, summer or winter. Winter is the biggest concern, and this panel handles my 240VAC sincere well pump, gas-fired FHW heating system and all other critical circuits. Beats hiring an electrician to connect a primary feed transfer and all the assorted expensive cabling for the building CB panel.

Save that product.
This is an omitting product. It was easy to install and easy to use. I chose this product because some of the competing products have more wiring tangled and it is possible to backfeed house power into your generator. With this switch panel, that unhappy sequel is impossible. I strongly recomend this product.

Without equal product
After having on loan a generator last year and "put up" with power outages in the years before I decided to purchase a generator this year. Rather than run cords I chose to connect this transfer switch and power inlet box. Reliance Controls has made a great product. It's very rugged and well-made. The directions was easy to follow and wiring didn't take long at all. (Reliance Controls has an easy to understand, clear depot video on its website too.) All of the necessary items are packaged in the box right down to wire nuts for the side and inlet box connection. (Of course though you need to buy wire to run to the inlet box from the transfer switch.) Solid operation is very easy and safe and the built-in watt meters are helpful to double-corroborate load balancing. This is a terrific product and very user-friendly. I highly recommend it.

Wealth well spent !!
Very nonchalantly to install. Just watch the online video first. I had a chance to use my Reliance Controls 31410CRK 10-Perimeter transfer switch about 2 weeks after I installed it. Worked perfect!! I'm using it with my Honda EU6500is generator. I'm happy I got the 10 circuit model! The 6 circuit model would not do all the circuits I wanted to power. With the 10 circle model, I can run my hot water heater OR the rest of my house, just not both at the same time.

Competent Produce, fast delivery
I purchassed and installed a Reliance Tiller 10 circuit 30amp generator switch with power cord and power inlet box ideal 31410CRK. The product was exactly as advertised, and I had no problems installing it, even though I never did house wireing before, but I do have some knowlege of central electronics.
The only sugestion I have for Reliance is to include basic testing instructions. For example, an ohm meter could be employed to check each of the 10 circuit switches, and insure connection of the right wires. I noticed the wire labeled "I" looked like a sidways "H".
The malleable metal conduit had to be shortened. If you need to shorten it, it's not very difficult. Just unravel the metal at the end, and incline back and forth to break of some of the material. It looks better to have the conduit flat against the mounting accommodate rather than making it loop out in order to place the transfer switch closer to your main periphery breaker box.
I recomend the 10 circuit model. If you get the 6 circuit, and if you have a refrigerator, furnace fan, sump send and freezer, these appliances are probbably on seperate lines, leaving only 2 of the 6 circuits available for lighting and TVs etc.
I did not purchass a generator yet. Barely waiting for a good deal.
If you are only working with 120 volt circuits, you can test the piece without a generator. If you are not sure about what you are doing, I would get expert advise before doing this. All the transfer switches should be in the down place (power coming from utility lines).
Before connecting the wiring that you purchassed separatly to the outside inlet box, connect the Black and Red wires to a short lenght of 10 gage wire with a wire nut. Intercalate the short wire into the hot side of a heavy duty extension cord, and plug the cord into an stirring outlet. Make sure you connect to the Hot wire. A volt meter should show 110 volts between the hot wire and the initiate.
The above steps supply 110 volts from the utility lines to both sides of the transfer whip unit. If the outlet is controlled by the transwitch, you will not be able to check that one switch, so try to find an outlet that isn't conntected to the move switch.
Now, when you move one of the transfer circuit switches to the Up or Generator position, the circuit connected to that deflection will receive its power from the extension cord. Only move one transfer swith to the generator position at a occasion, since the power is being supplyd by the utility lines thu one of your main circuit breakers. As each switch is moved up and then down again, you should only yield power on the protected branch ciruit momentarily when the switch is in the middle position.
Testing 220 volt words would be more difficult, consult an eletrician or rent a generator to test the whole system.

Lamborghini to market lifestyle accessories in India | Inditop
New Delhi, Sep 13 (Inditop.com) Tonino Lamborghini, the Italian luxury brand, has entered the Indian market with a range of multi-media accessories to cash in on the digital and cyber boom in India.
With an explosion in the sale of computers, laptops, i-phones, BlackBerry and satellite phones, and i-pods in India, the company will sell its signature “computer backpacks, i-phone, BlackBerry, notebook and camera cases at the mega lifestyle retail stores in the country,” a senior company official, in charge of marketing and the distribution, said.
The accessories are mostly made of nylon and leather.
“We are targeting college students and young executives, who travel to short haul destinations with their laptops. The young corporate executives, who have more money to spend, are trendy and look for the latest multi-media accessory brands that are acknowledged globally,” said Ajay Mehta, managing director of the MCC Group, the firm distributing Lamborghini accessories in the country.
“The sale of laptops and i-phones have shot through the roof and we feel this is the right time to tap the market.”
To make the products buyer friendly, the company has kept the prices competitive and affordable, Mehta said.
“The price brand is reasonable – from Rs.1,500 to Rs.7,000,” Mehta said.
Mehta said his company has tied up with lifestyle stores like the Reliance, Shopper’s Stop, eZone, Hotspot and Croma to retail its accessories.
“The luxury segment in India is growing. The downturn was just a blip on the radar. Much of the market is untapped and there is room for more foreign brands,” he said.
The Lamborghini story began in 1946.
“The company began manufacturing exclusive sports cars, tractors, solar panels, wines, golf carts and engineering equipments for home. Its masterpiece, however, was the Miura sports car of the 60s and the 70s. The founder of the company was Ferruccio Lamborghini,” Mehta said.
