Being French, I gotta say I’m surprised nobody did a DIY about this. I buy my wines in crates, so I have a lot of them stored at home. I should just get my saw !
However, wine crates are a no-go in France. We used them so much for storage, there’s so much collecting them among older poeple, that I just can’t see them anymore. Neither chic nor trendy. It’s funny how tastes vary from one place to the other ! This goes for the taste in wine too…

Any specific christmas gift ideas for a 40 year old man?
Q: I'm trying to think of a Christmas gift for my fiancee - and would love to get some specific ideas!
** He's already got tons of computer games, an iphone, GPS, Nintendo DS, ipod, all the latest gadgets.
** He's a huge coffee and wine enthusiast, Though he's already got the fancy coffee/ cappachino machine and all kinds of accessories. I thought about getting him one of those wine storage things, but when I tested the idea he didn't seem to thrilled about that.
** He's also a huge european history buff so maybe something related to that might be a good idea.
** Last year I made him a coffee mug, so maybe I can make him something else.
** Also we now live in different states until next April, so perhaps something that can keep us connected.
** He also LOVES cheese (he's French :).
Got any specific ideas for me? I'm hoping to spend less than $200 but if it's a really good idea I might be willing to spend more.
THANKS
A: My husband is 42 and he is a HUGE coffee drinker also. I purchased him all kinds of expensive coffees and flavored coffees. My husband is a big history buff also, especially military history and war. I went online and did a search for magazines that had to do with that. I found him a few magazines that he would love and purchased one year subscriptions to them. That is an idea also.
How about a cheese of the month club? They will send a different kind of cheese to him each month.
Good luck and Merry Christmas.

A: How about an itune gift card?
Does he have a coffee bean grinder?
Wine of the month club?
I am completely at a loss on Christmas ideas...help!?
Q: I have quite a few people I need to buy for this year, but don't really have an idea of what or where to start. If I tell you a little bit about the people, could you help me think of presents that might work? My budget is pretty open.
Fiance: Already ordered him a Roku netflix player - need another idea, too. He's a complete and total movie freak. He's also really into martial arts, running, cooking, travel, and music. He already has all the clothes/shoes/accessories that he wants. He also really enjoys camping and the outdoors. He wanted a kayak, but we have no place to store that in our condo. He's a videographer by profession, so anything related to that would be good, but would also probably be more than I can afford. Any ideas?
Father: No idea. Help! He's very much a guy's guy, and loves woodworking and lathe work, and motorcycles (BMW - he's not a Harley guy or a biker type - just likes to ride.) He also likes music to some degree.
Fiance's mother: Again, help me. She already HAS everything she could possibly want, and has everything she could want/need to decorate her home. She runs a franchise jewelry business, and travels a LOT. She's really kind of a fun-spirited hippy chick. I like her. :-)
Fiance's Father/Stepmom: This is what's particularly stumping me. They are very well traveled and affluent - it's truly a 'what to get the couple who has everything' question. They work together as a team in higher education, travel all over the world constantly, and are highly interested in diplomacy, peace in the Middle East, and humanitarianism.
My sister: She is married and has 6 children. She is a nurse, and so is her husband. I'd like to get a 'family present', so I don't have to buy 8. She's into Yoga a lot lately, and loves to read.
My brother: Lives in Alaska with his wife and 16 year old daughter. He's a machinist, gun enthusiast, and hunter. He also loves motorcycles, snomobiling, and paintball. Read: Redneck. I would also like to get a 'family gift' for them as well.
My aunt: We are visiting her over the holidays, and I'd like to give her a 'thank you' gift for having us. She is in her late 60's, and enjoys dogs, gardening, cooking, wine, and travel.
A: HERES WHAT I COULD COME UP WITH
Fiance: Mp3 player,Tent, Air matress
Your Father:Electric Saw, Wood (lots),Woodworking tools
