The notify filter can be cleaned without opening the vacuum and allowing dust to escape into the air. Simply jar the agitator rod to dislodge debris and dust, and you can get right back to vacuuming. Both the primary and secondary filters are made out of shape-washable, synthetic fabric, so you'll never have to buy replacement filter bags for this vacuum. As efficient as it is economical, the optional Micro Pre-Filter captures particles down to a partially a micron--that's 0.0025", the width of a human hair. And because it can be a challenge to prevent clogs in such a top-grade filter, Dustless Technologies has made the Micro Pre-Filter oversized to give it more surface area--no other vacuum does the same. In the gen, the wet/dry vac will maintain suction power with up to 40 pounds of dust--the Micro Pre-Filter itself can assemble up to 80 pounds of dust. Vacuums Liquids Without Hassle
Unlike other wet/dry vacuums, the 16003 allows you to go from dry to wet vacuuming without stopping to exchange the filters. When water is captured by the vacuum, it drains down the interior wall of the tank, to another place from the filters--a check ball prevents the water from rising up to the filters or motor. This sharp vac also features an automatic air shut off for all wet pickups, protecting the motor from filling with too much water. The included 12-foot hose can be habituated to for drainage, and the drain can be regulated to drip or flow freely. Quiet and Powerful with Suitable Tool Storage
