You gotta clean it while it is hot-I use one of my "just before the trash pile cause it is worn out" Cello sponges with the mild abrasive backing-then I soak the sponge in cold water-carefully bring the George Foreman grill to the edge of the sink and take that sponge soaked in cold water only and start at the top part of the grill and wipe down-each time rinsing the sponge with cold water-then use the same method to clean the bottom griddle-this all takes less than 5 min-then let set to dry. I noticed sometimes the Waffle House folks use plain ice water to clean the flat top griddles..so I just use cold water on this grill top Guest Passes let you share your photos that aren't public. George Foreman GGR88DK Double Knockout Grill
I already own a Weber Silver B and a DeLonghi indoor grill. The Foreman is, by far, superior to the DeLonghi (and A LOT cheaper, too!)--it cooks evenly and all my dishes turn out delicious! Compared to my Weber Silver B, it's better at cooking at almost everything--I haven't tried Tri Tip on the Foreman yet! The timer is a big plus--I preheat for 10 minutes, add my meat and/or vegetables and walk away!!!

An otherwise good product that has an
apparent quality/engineering flaw.
The timers for this product are useless.
I have had two of these grills and the timers on each item
failed on the VERY FIRST USE>
the dials were not forced, just inferior quality.
Of course, you are not supplied
with a customer service number to call for repair.
Thanks George!

What are your favorite recipes to cook on your contact grill or George Foreman grill? Do you use frozen food?
Q: I just bought a Hamilton Beach contact grill on clearance at Walmart Saturday for $25 ($45 reg., Great deal!) I made a hamburger and grilled the peppers, onions and mushrooms with it. Then last night I grilled Shrimp with Garlic & Olive oil. They were GREAT! But I would like some other easy ideas. Has anyone ever used frozen chicken breast (boneless) with any success?
A: I have a George Foreman grill and I couldn't live without it now that I have it.
I half defrosted the chicken first. I also sliced it really thin to make chicken breast burgers. Capsicum and eggplant, sliced zucchini grill well too. I did this for a vegetable lasagne. Steak cooks really well on it too. Get some Vienna bread and grill it, once grilled rub with a cut garlic clove and top with a mix of red onion, tomato, fresh basil and balsamic vinegar. Drizzle with a really good olive oil and there you have a fantastic healthy bruschetta.
E-mail me if you want to exchange other ideas for the grill.
i have a complaint abt my george foreman grill.who do i contact?
