Jenn-Air Expressions Collections CVEX4370 43" Modular Triple Electric : Black
Customer Reviews
Don't Gut Your $$First of all, this is a Maytag yield. They just put the Jenn-Air name on it to sell it for more money! This cooktop is not worth the money. I admit I esteem gas cooking, but this thing takes forever to heat up, doesn't seem to get hot enough, and doesn't have a setting to give someone a tongue-lashing you if the burners are still hot after you turn them off. I can't tell you how many items we've melted plastic because someone set something on a still warm burner. But the Authentic reason I hate this cooktop is how difficult it is to clean. Yeah, it might be fancy with the modules, downdraft funnel and grease catchers, but it is horrible to clean. Each module has gaps around it, so the module insert itself gets oil and grime on the edges, then the insert underneath it, then the main cooktop frame and housing. Not only that, but the incredibly hopeful (sarcasm there) people who designed it didn't allow for the downdraft shaft to be removed for organization. And you can't get to it with your hand (unless you have your kids do it!) You should see the undidentifiable food items down there. I can see some arborrio rice, but the relax is just yuck. So, if you cook a lot and like to clean even more, this cooktop's for you. I suggest going for a gambler conventional cooktop (but still less than this baby)and using a George Foreman grill or your outdoor grill. But if you still propose b assess you want this one, I have one to sell you! :)

jenn air wiring - Appliance Repair Forum
I have 4 wires coming from the 2 elements on the right side(front and rear). The rear element has a red wire with a piggyback connection on it going to the h1 on rear switch but also jumpering to the h1 of the front switch. The other connection on the rear element has a yellow wire going to the h2 on rear switch. The connections on the front element have a blue wire connected to the h2 of the front switch and another blue wire, from the other side of the front element, running to the exhaust blower(120 V) located in middle of the unit. The exhaust motor is operarted with a manual switch which is powered from the L1 to the unit. This blue wire from the front element is tied in with the wire from the closed side of the man switch for the blower. Some body that had worked on this unit left it wired like this but I question this blue wire tied in with the blower.I was thinking that it (the blue wire) if anything should be tied in to the nuetral wire to the unit.

Jenn Air Cooktop Insert Plug - Appliance Repair Forum
I have an older Jenn-Air oven with cooktop. One half of the cook-top is a grill, the other half is a plug-in dual callirod heating unit. The female receptical that this insert plugs into is worn, and I ordered the receptical to replace it. But the receptical has no wiring inside of it. Can anyone tell me what wiring part number is? Customer Service couldn't identify the part for me and suggested this forum.

Replacing Jenn Air cooktop/ovens... - ApplianceBlog.com ...
I have a Jenn Air 30" electric downdraft stovetop (Part#201595) and electric double ovens (Part# KP27G0D1BG - 26" wide) that I would like to replace with new Jenn Air products. I would like to stay with electric downdraft and double ovens. Should I be concerned that the newer models (assuming I go with the same general sizes of 30 and 26 inches) might not fit or attach the same way?

How to replace old Jenn-Air downdraft cooktop?
Q: We are looking into buying a house that is 22 yrs. old. It has an older Jenn-Air electric downdraft cooktop. I know NOTHING about downdraft cooktops. Can it be replaced w/any brand cooktop? How hard to replace? Do they work well? What about the duct work?? It's all very confusing to me, any help/advice would be greatly appreciated!!
A: . Can it be replaced w/any brand cook top? Yes. How hard to replace? On a scale of one to ten, a three. Do they work well? Yes they do a good job. What about the duct work? Have you checked to see if it has duct work? If so,it can be used on the other brands.
Where can I find FREE consumer reports on a Jenn-air downdraft gas range?
Q: I am looking at 2 specific models, they are both slide-in gas ranges with downdraft systems built in, but one has an electric convection oven and the other is gas. Both have gas cooktops. Model #'s are JDS9860BD & JGS9900BD
Any feedback would be greatly appreciated!
A: Check with your library. Mine has copies.
