Jenn-air dishwasher not drying dishes - ApplianceBlog.com ...
We recently purchased a new home. The appliances are about 2 1/2 years old. The dishwasher is Jenn-air model #JDB1100AWS, which does not dry the dishes completely. After each running we have to dry the glasses on the top rack. If we run the dishwasher at night and empty in the morning the amount of drying is less because some of the water drys on it's own. Any suggestions?

How do I drain the water out of a Jenn Air 860b Dishwasher?
Q: When the wash cycle finishes in our Jenn Air 680b Dishwasher, there is about 1 inch of water left in the appliance.
1: How do I drain this...is there a combination of buttons to trigger a drain
2: What could be causing this??
Thanks
A: Your drain line is probably clogged. Unhook it from the garbage disposal or p-trap and clean out all the food.
I have had my jenn-air dishwasher for about six years and have not had any problems. ?
Q: All of a sudden when I went to start it, it was as if the dishwasher was unplugged. Nothing will light up. I checked the circuits and that is all fine. Does anyone know what it could be?
A: Go online to Fix It.com and put in you model number, make, and see if anyone else is having that problem and see if they have a solution for it.
Jenn-Air dishwasher does not pump out the water at end of cycle anymore. Just makes a chattering noise..?
Q: Built in dishwasher, new last October, worked well until 3 days ago. All of the cycled water will not pump out. Float seems to move up and down OK...
A: Sounds like something got into your pump and damaged the impellers.
When the dishwasher is running, does it sound like the water is splashing around with plenty of pressure? If it does then you have some other problem. The same pump that drains your dishwasher creates the pressure that cleans your dishes. If you can't tell, and don't care about getting a little wet, trick the dishwasher into thinking that the door is closed while on the wash cycle. If the pump is working, water will go all over the place. I would suggest keeping the door almost all the way closed to minimize the amount of water getting out. Since the dishwasher is new, it might be hard to trick the door into thinking it is closed. Couldn't tell you how to do it without seeing it.
The other possible explaination may be the the screen that filters the water as it goes out the drain may have something covering it. Dishwashers have a filter to keep large items from going into the pump. Some have a small piece of wire the spins outside the internal screen to chew up the food that gets in there to make it small enought to go through the screen. Something may have gotten in there that is both plugging the screen, not letting water out, and is being hit by this wire, making the noise. If you have something like that on your dishwasher, there will be a preliminary screen that you will have to remove to get to the secondary screen.
Hope that helps.
