It has been sent off for repair through Interdiscount so in the meantime I will have to use my very ancient Laura Star magic...still running after 10 years.
I think that is the kind of thing you don't want (ironing system with a special board). But I have to say that ironing shirts with a basic steam iron is more work. If the shirts are damp, it will be easier but you will still need to keep filling the iron. What you might want to consider is the steam ironing systems that work with a basic ironing board. If you buy a basic steam iron, look for one with a built in anti calc system. Calc is the enemy to all appliances here. That is the advantage of the Laura Star system-no need to worry about calc. If I win a lottery, I will buy this.

Braun satinliner, babyliss pro 230 or chi iron?
Q: Which one is best? Braun satinliner, babyliss pro 230 or Chi Iron
If it's a case of what texture your hair is, my hair is thick, non curly, very flicky =] and about 4 inches below my shoulder.
And by the way please don't suggest GHDS because I am NOT getting them because I do not have the money =] And no I'm not saving up for them
BRAUN cordless flat iron?
Q: Hi,
Has anyone ever used or is using Braun cordless flat iron? I am thinking of getting one today. Any input would be greatly appreciated. Have a great day/evening, Ciao.
A: I don't personally use it..my hair is impossible to straighten...lol. However, my friend has one, and she swears by it. Her hair is already straight, she uses it to flatten it, and lay the flyaways down;)
Instyler vs other hair irons...What shud I use (African american)?
Q: Ive read reviews on CHIs, GHDs, FHIs, chi turbo, cortex, rowenta, braun and etc....... all these vs the Instyler...which i may consider. Don't know yet. anyone?
A: chi turbo is the best. Don't chemically straighten it's easier to work with natural texture.
