This is a very well built, nicely meant and firm consolidated microwave (I’ve owned it for over a year and a partially). As a inventor of three babies our microwaves have a musical leathery way of life being tempered to throughout the day including heating up numerous bottles of withdraw. Our last microwave (a Morphy Richards) lasted only 2 years before unceremoniously giving up the spirit in a exhibition of sparks. We also have a sufficiently restrictive amount of interval within our kitchenette so perfectly we wanted to amalgamate power of endurance with a packed draft. Once delivered – we were pleasantly surprised by how big the inner brains of the oven in truth is: Whilst we would mostly be using the microwave for the earlier bottles of draw off, it can also definitely utilize a reasonably sized straightforward casserole plate. The pattern and still of use is very understandable and perceptive. The only lass carping would be the impulsive defrosting habitat which requires you to refer to the handbook to find the in time numbers (1-7 I notion of!) to the specific chow humbug you are defrosting as the Microwave will only exposition a issue. This is starkly a shed weight more overpriced terse microwave, but so far I’d once say it was value the higher disbursement.
When I first trap this microwave I was impressed by the increase characteristic and the styling. And also the actuality that it’s been meant with a apprehensible inside altitude (so you can get a Covent Plot soup pack in there without tilting it!)
However, I was not impressed with the scroll hoop as it took too prolonged to get to a instant. Also, the beeping timer went on for too crave after victuals had stopped.
Thanks to a remark on my basic reconsider, both of these annoyances have now been remedied. See the comments for more niceties, but truly 1) journos the power locale handle first to set the timer to 1:00, from which you can then scroll up or down and 2) steam and put off the start knob for 6 seconds to silver the beeper existence.

Where can I sell 1980's black kitchen appliances?
Q: My husband and I are remodeling a home in Dallas, TX and are about to take out all of the old appliances (all black, 1980's appliances). We have a built-in Subzero fridge, Jenn-air range, microwave, oven and a Bosch dishwasher (white). Does anyone know where I can sell these??
A: Craigslist. It's free!
KENMORE vs BOSCH - Should be easy decision but isn't - Help?
Q: We have our home listed for sale. One of the remarks on the MLS listing is 'top of the line appliances'. We have a "Sub Zero (Brand) Refrigerator/Freezer, an Electric Bosch Convection Oven and a Bosch Regular Oven (Both in Wall), the Microwave is a Convection too - a Bosh. The Dishwasher is also a Bosch.
PROBLEM: My husband dropped a metal fry pan on the Counter Top Electric Cook Range which was Bosch also. It shattered. We have to replace it. To replace the Bosch would be almost $3,000 -- to put in a top of the line Kenmore Cooktop would be approximately $900.
If you were buying a home would a new Kenmore Electric Cooktop turn you off....should we have spent $2,000 extra on the Bosch?
Please answer while we have time to get out of the contract (if necessary).
Kenmore is 'SEARS' own brand.
A: put in the kenmore and get a service contract, thru sears to repair any other screw ups, will also help your home sell
How do I get the best deal on my kitchen appliances?
Q: I am buying my first home and the appliance that are in there absolutely have to go (most don't even work, let alone they are 20 years old). I want to get good stuff, but I don't need the top of the line. I want to get a good deal on my appliances, but I want to get the job done right. I work in IT so I would consider myself pretty savvy. I have searched online at various retailers, compared what a lot of models have to offer, have a general price point of what items may cost. I also went in to Home Depot, Pacific Sales, Sears, Sears Outlet, Costco, etc.
So I am in San Diego and I want to buy a refrigerator, cook top (30" gas), wall oven (30"), microwave/hood combo (over cook top). What suggestions might everyone on here have at getting the best deal possible? Where might you recommend I shop to find the best deal? What about possible rebates, coupons, etc.? Any specific things to look out for when purchasing? Warranty? Installation? Possible (or not) package deal savings?
What about fitment? Might I have issues with various 30" appliances fitting in where the previous Magic Chef 30" stuff is already? I can take pictures and exact measurements, maybe that can help in purchasing more precisely?
Here are some possible items I can see myself buying based on the knowledge I have now...

THANKS!!
Regarding craigslist. I have been looking for the last 1-2 weeks and the only thing I have seen that looks like I can find an ample amount of on there are Refrigerators. I can get a good deal on one of those and Washer/Dryer. But buying an oven and cook top on there seems hard to find and not the kind/size/color I want (yet).
