Liquids, such as water, coffee, or tea are able to be overheated beyond the boiling point without appearing to be boiling. Visible bubbling or boiling when the container is removed from the microwave oven is not always present. This could result in very hot liquids suddenly boiling over when the container is disturbed or a spoon or other utensil is inserted into the liquid.
Aluminum foil
Shielding only. Small smooth pieces can be used to cover thin parts of meat or poultry to prevent overcooking. Arcing can occur if foil is too close to oven walls. The foil should be at least 1 inch (2.5 cm) away from oven walls.
Do not install oven over a range cook top or other heat-producing appliance. If installed near or over a heat source, the oven could be damaged and the warranty would be void.
COOK MEAT BY WEIGHT
Use to cook beef, lamb, or pork. The time and power level are programmed accordingly when you enter the type and weight of food.
Note:
If the clock (or display) shows any abnormality, unplug the oven from the AC outlet. Plug it in again and then reset the clock. When the oven is first plugged in, or when power resumes after a power interruption, the display will show ENTER CLOCK TIME. To set the clock, follow the instructions above. If you would not like the clock displayed, press STOP/RESET. You can use the oven without setting the clock.Reheating:
Cooked food reheats extremely well by using a low level of microwave energy. Place denser foods near the outer edge of the dish when reheating.

Electrical Requirements
The electrical requirements are a 120 volt 60 Hz, AC only, 15 amp. It is recommended that a separate circuit serving only the oven be provided. The oven is equipped with a 3-prong grounding plug. It must be plugged into a wall receptacle that is properly installed and grounded.
Power Supply Cord
A short power supply cord is provided to reduce the risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord. Longer cord sets or extension cords are available and may be used if care is exercised in their use. If long cord or extension cord is used: The marked electrical rating of the cord set or extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance. The extension cord must be a grounding-type 3-wire cord, and The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally. Radio or TV InterferenceShould there be any interference caused by the microwave oven with your radio or TV, check that the microwave oven is on a different circuit, relocated the radio or TV as far away from the oven as possible or check position and signal of receiving antenna
Paper towels and napkins
Use for short-term heating and covering; these absorb excess moisture and prevent spattering. Do not use recycled paper towels, which may contain metal and could ignite.

Do not overcook food. Carefully attend the appliance when paper, plastic, or other combustible materials are placed inside the oven to facilitate cooking. Do not use the oven cavity for storage purposes. Do not store combustible items such as bread, cookies, paper products, etc. inside the oven. If lightning strikes the power line, the oven may turn on by itself.
INSTALLATION
Remove all packing material and accessories. Examine the oven for any damage such as dents or broken door. Do not install if oven is damaged. Do not remove the light brown Mica cover that is attached inside the oven cavity to protect the magnetron.
Door release button
Press the button to open door. When you open the door during cooking process, the cooking stops but the program will not be canceled. Touch START to resume cooking.MULTISTAGE COOKING
Some recipes require different stages of cooking at different power levels to get better results. You can program oven for up to 2 cooking stages. Each stage can be programmed with a different power level and time.
Quantity
In microwave cooking, the cooking time is dependent on the amount of food in the oven. If you double the recipe, plan on doubling the cooking time.

How do I set the clock on my sanyo microwave oven ?
Q: i need to go back one hour !
thanks my neighbor - a phd in science just came over and did it - same as last year ha ha
A: Speaking generally, you would hit "clock" then punch in the time and then hit "start". That won't start the nuker, it will start the clock. Another possibility is you punch in the new time and then hit "clock". (Not "start" of course.) If all fails, yank the plug and the display should blink and then you can punch in the new numbers and then try "start" or "clock". Sanyo has manuals online, that is another option, and you can call Sanyo.
can you help me for using microwave oven?
Q: I use mircrowave oven with grill of brand sanyo. There is an option "kitchen timer" in the panel. No demonstrator here can explain us the usage of that option. Can any one help me to use that kitchen timer. What is it for?
A: The kitchen timer is a really helpful gadget...here's how it works: press the 'kitchen timer' button, and then put in however many minutes you want to time something for. It is independent of the microwave OVEN, in that the oven doesn't go on...it's just a free-standing timer device you can use to time something else you might be cooking elsewhere than in the microwave. The indicator runs down second by second just as it does when you're cooking in the microwave oven, and the chime or buzz signal will go off...just like any other kitchen timer. This is just an "added feature" for convenience...especially for people who have older regular cookstoves without a built-in timer.
I make use of mine all the time...especially when I have the timer set on my regular stove's oven, I can time another thing [like boiled eggs or veggies on my regular stovetop] by using the microwave "kitchen timer" feature.
help with the microwave!!!?
Q: Can't figure out the controls on my new microwave oven. Dammit Sanyo, I'm a camp celebrity not an engineer. Help!!!
A: doesn't it come with a instruction manual?
people are supposed to read the instructions manual first and then customer service at sanyo before coming to some like y ans for help.
