Washer shuts down 10 seconds after agitate or spin - Appliance ...
I messed with the switch during the agitate cycle and managed to get it to work for 10 seconds and then it shut off. I did the same test with the spin cycle and it did the same thing. I bypassed the lid switch and it did the same thing on both cycles, so it is not the switch. I haven't looked at the fuse, but I assume that if it were a fuse it wouldn't work at all. My assumption at this point is that it's the motor and it's over heating because after I wait for a minute or so I'm able to get it to agitate or spin for another 10 or so seconds. The washer is fairly old so I'm not sure if it has the LED indicator lights. My g/f says that it's not working so we have to get a new one But my cheap side won't let that happen. lol Thank you.

[FIXED] Thermador Pro-Range PGR486GDZS 48” Griddle not igniting ...
The griddle worked fine for a few years, then about 2 years ago it started to give out, that's when I began having trouble getting it to ignite. When I turned the griddle on I could hear a click and the igniter click, but just for a split second. I didn't smell any gas. I would have to turn the griddle on and off several times and maybe after a dozen tries or so, it would finally ignite. I got tiered of the whole thing and just started taking the "plate" off and setting on the two burners to the right of the griddle, when I had to use it. Well, we have a tradition of making pancakes every Sunday, so this is now getting old! Last Friday I took the thing apart, the U-shaped tube where the flame comes out looks very good, nothing blocking any of the holes or anything like that. The flame igniter also looks very clean and "normal" (to me). I took more of it apart. I got under the sheet metal thing and saw where the solenoid valve was (Ive been told its the solenoid valve). I unplugged the two electrodes (one blue one pinkish). I then unscrewed it from the gas supply. (See picture A) Lots of gas immediately came gushing out, so I quickly screwed it back on. I then re-plugged the two electrodes back where they were. I didn't know what else I could do, so I just put it back together and guess what, it turned on first try and worked like a champ! I took the thing apart again today and unplugged the same stuff as last time, plugged the blue and pink back in, turned the griddle knob and nothing. I didnt re-assemble all but, when I turn the griddle knob, the gas does not come out of the valve and the igniter doesnt light, so basically it didnt magically heal itself like last Friday. Well based on a quick search I did on the possible parts, I find all three still available, so that is at least good news. You are obviously more knowledgeable about the inner workings of your griddle than most any other customer I usually deal with, so I may be able to walk you...
Thermador Range Grill Gas Valve Needed - Appliance Repair Forum
Also, the valve has been replaced once already several years ago. The part that is in there now is a NC-4125-5 Eaton Bi-Metal Gas Valve but it clearly marked "do not apply 120 VAC" and is marked 3.03/3.3 VAC. I am measuring 120 VAC going into the valve so is it safe to assume that the repair guy (under warranty) replaced the valve with the wrong part. It's lasted for years but I assume that applying 120 VAC to this probably burnt it out, right?

Need to find a part for a RDF30QW Thermador Range?
Q: Some one I know has a Thermador RDF30QW Gas Range. He needs to find a part that uses LP(Liquid Propane) instead. He says it is called an LP Conversion Kit, but I cannot find it anywhere. Can someone please help me?
A: Just do a search or ask your propane suplier for a kit.''http://www.calibex.com/Major-Appliances- -zzlp+conversion+kitsz2700401zcalibex2zB 7z5---html
Are there safety knob covers for Thermador Pro Harmony range?
Q: I'm trying to find the safety covers that go over the knobs, specifically the Thermador Pro Harmony range. My baby can turn them already and they are sensitive to touch anyway.
I've tried the Safety 1st with no sucess as they won't lock into back of the knob unit on the range.
Thermador customer service was of no help...
Please let me know if you know of any! Thanks much.
Has anyone had this problem with their Thermador range?
Q: OK, we have a 2-3 year old 6 burner Thernador range, dual fuel, professional, big honking expensive thing. The range is set in an island, and we had the backsplash that comes with the range installed (it rises about 4 inches above the range). There has been this buzzing noise, not loud, but irritating in a quiet kitchen that comes out of the back of the range. The appliance repair guy told us that it is supposed to make that noise and that our cabinets are too low. That they should be higher and that would muffle the noise. Does this make any sense at all? I would have someone else come to look at it, but I paid $60 to have this guy do nothing with the thing. Thanks in advance.
A: I don't have a Thermador, but I doubt if that noise is normal. Is there a transformer or solenoid valve back there? Has it always made this noise? Probably not. Something may have caused a recent change, perhaps moisture behind it. I would try another service tech for another opinion.
