Don't Buy from this train!
Bought a refrigerator in Pompous 2008 stopped working out of no where at the end of March 2010. It didnt even last two years. I know this make is cheaper, but spend a little extra money for a name you trust. it will save you in the long run.

Don't buy Magic Chef/Ewave Products
We bought a case freezer in January 2009. It worked great until August 3, when it suddenly withdraw from. I called in for the warranty service on August 3. It took TEN DAYS for the Magic Chef warranty worker that was given my file to get back to me, as every time I returned his call, I got his voicemail. Then he told me the soonest he could get me a service meeting was August 25th (this was on the 13th when I actually spoke to him).
We accepted and they sent parts, which ended up at the business that shares the speech with us, because he wrote down the wrong unit number, so UPS didn't know where to take them, as we had just moved before Elegant.
That morning (10:30 am) the service tech called, although the service was not supposed to be until the 1-5 outmoded slot, and told me he was ready to come. I gave directions to the house, then explained we were still frustrating to find the parts the company sent (which the tech had no knowledge that there were parts coming). He asked me to call him back when we found them.
10 minutes later, I called back, and got his voicemail on his apartment. I called 4 more times throughout the day, then called the Magic Chef line again, and they gave me ANOTHER number to call to get the service tech info. I called that party (A&E Appliances), and they told me they could not find the tech, he had not reported anything on my case, and to call back around 6pm. I did, and they told me he had put our case in as no parts elbow, EVEN THOUGH I LEFT HIM MESSAGES telling him we had the parts!
So, the A&E people rescheduled me for Sept 3, for the 8-12 fit (the only one available). Well, the tech called (again for directions which I gave him almost two weeks ago and HEARD him compose down over the phone) at 7:15 AM, and our phone was on vibrate, as we usually get up at 7:30am. This was then followed by a message at 7:31am from the A&E Appl. establishment saying that the service tech was taken off our case for today and needed to reschedule AGAIN. I called A&E at 8:02am, and they told me all they could do was reschedule me for September 8, no supervisors or managers I could talk to, wretched for the "inconvenience".
One month and 4 days later, we have a dead freezer, our neighbor wants her freezer wait back from our stuff, and I am terrified that we are going to get screwed again on Tuesday when they call to get directions for the appointment! This is the worst fellow service I have ever experienced, and because of this I will not purchase a Magic Chef/Ewave product again.

First-rate little fridge but download and read manual first before buying
We bought this snug refrigerator (in white) about 5 days ago at Home Depot and it seems to be working very well. However, as with any appliance it would have helped to recall things like when you buy it you should try to transport it vertically or you will have to wait 4 hours before starting it up (so the refrigerant can people I guess). Also, they say in the manual but nowhere else that you need 5 inches of space between the sides of the fridge and the wall, so this might not be most excellently for a tight or "built-in" space. The manual also says not to use this unit with an extension cord, so again hiring is critical. It is very quiet which is something I really wanted. We looked at a lot of models and a lot of reviews and so far we're very satisfied.

Not to trouble
I got this refrigerator at Harshly Depot for $119, and it works just great. It recommends a cooling temperature setting of 4 out of of 6 max for most cooling temperatures. At this setting, it gives a temperature equivalent to any regular size refrigerator. It chills my extract and Heineken to cold on "4". It won't recommend trying to freeze unfrozen foods in the frost compartment, but you can put pre-frozen foods it it, like from the supermarket. The only other thing is that given it's light strain, the door can be a little "front heavy" and will tilt the unit forward if pressure is pushed descending a little bit too much on the door when it is fully opened. Otherwise, this refrigerator still gets 5 stars from my review....assumption that the unit is light weight to begin with (Net weight 38 pounds) Personally, I concoct it is a great product for $119. 1 year warranty on parts, 5 years on the compressor (Parts only) at this theme. This little bad boy delivers at 2.4 CU and operates quiet too.

Keeps comestibles cold, but....
The refrigerator keeps a even temperature of 35 degrees with the dial on a setting of 5. 7 is the max setting, and 1 is the minimum. The refrigerator increases temp by about 6-8 degrees if you unscheduled the door for a minute and add more products. But if you open the door just to take out a drink, the temperature stays invariable.
I give this refrigerator a 3 because of the noise level. The first one i bought was so noisy that i had to bring it back. It made a buzzing sound, very likely due to a loose screw or something mechanically wrong with the compressor. I got a new one, same exact model, and that annoying ring sound is gone, but you can definitely hear the compressor when it's on. It turns on for about 2 minutes, then shuts off for about 5 minutes. It repeats this return.
The noise doesn't bother me, but that's because i keep the refrigerator in a place where it doesn't need to be super quietness. This product does the job and even though i give it only 3 stars, i do recommend it. It fits quite a bit of food and drinks. A partially-gallon carton of milk fits nicely in the bottom compartment. I keep this at work, and 4 employees can collect their lunches in there, as well as drinks and some extras too.

Magic chef frig door handle dis-assembly? - Appliance Repair Forum
I have a Magic Chef refrigerator, model number CSB212AR. From the parts diagrams that I've seen, it appears that the handle is actually a three piece assembly. Can anyone tell me how to take apart this handle without wrecking it? The handle has pulled loose from the door, and I need to dis-assemble the handle in order to re-attach it to the door. Any help is much appreciated.
