Regular steamers deliver water particles too large to penetrate the inner layers of the skin. This moisture evaporates quickly, but with the Panasonic's facial steamer your skin gets deep penetration of moisture. The size of the droplets is 1/8000 of the size of regular steamer droplets. See picture above for illustration. A great product and very popular here in Japan.
How to use it:
Very simple to use: Fill the container with water and turn on steamer, wait for about 1-2 minutes until steam comes out and start steaming your face. You can switch to hot or cold steam by pressing the cold steam button. For the aroma theraphy you fill the smaller container with the included aroma oil and push the button for the aroma therapy. There are variouse options to time your steam session, you decide how long and enter the designated time to finish your session. The usual procedure would be: steaming your face with the hot steam for 10-15 minutes (does not have to be that long) and then switch to the cold steam for about 2-5 minutes. Help For The Fireplace Shopper: Woodstove Steamers
Woodstove steamers are becoming increasingly popular amongst homeowners with woodstoves. Steamers are an excellent way to add a decorative touch to your stove without spending a lot of money. They also do double duty by adding moisture and humidity into the air.
You might be wondering - why do I need to add moisture and humidity into the air? If you currently have a woodstove, than you probably already know the answer. The truth is - when it comes to burning wood in your woodstove - the heat output can be very intense and dry. Dry air becomes increasingly uncomfortable during the winter months. The dryness is quite noticeable and can result in scratchy throats, chapped lips, and dry skin. Nobody wants to deal with that!
This is how it works – the bottom of the steamer is bowl shaped and is where you place the water. The top of the steamer will have holes in it that allow the steam to escape and enter your home. All you have to do is heat up the water - it’s that simple! Wood stove steamers come in a variety of styles, shapes, and colors. From whale to cabin shaped steamers - you will be able to find something that fits your liking and décor of your home.
Quick tip – you can add orange peels, potpourri, and even cloves to your steamer and it will give off a pleasant aroma in your home.
If you are planning on purchasing a steamer for your woodstove (or even if you already have one) you should consider getting a trivet. A trivet is generally mad e from cast iron and sits on top of the woodstove as sort of a heat pad between the steamer and the stove. It helps to prevent rusting on the stove, and it keeps the steamer from becoming too hot. They are great for saving your table and countertops from heat damage too! Just like steamers – trivets come in an array of styles and colors.
Stay comfortable this winter with the help of a woodstove steamer. Whether you are looking for something stylish – or something that will do the job – you will easily be able to find one that will suit your liking!

I have a Saeco Aroma esspresso machine. Does anyone have instrucitons for it?
Q: I am not sure what the button on the right is for. It has a picture of what looks like steam, but does not seem to change the way the steam comes out of the steamer nozzle so not sure why its there. Also, after making a cup of esspresso, the grounds in the filter are wet and soggy. In my old machine they would be dried out after making a cup, and pop out like a hockey puck. With this machine they have to be scooped out and are mushy. Is this correct?
A: On the website. Unless you have one that they don't post the manuels for free.
