Customer Reviews
More advisedly than McDonaldsThe felicitate comes out perfect every time! Eggs are cooked to perfection and the meat is always hot. Its easy to use and the sandwichs are always brand-new and hot. I would recommend this product and give it a five star rating!!!!!
Warn!Caution!Caution!
This is such a calculated concept and it makes mornings sooo much easier. HOWEVER like many of the other reviews have said...1.) the sinistral side of the toaster doesn't work and 2.) it does have a weird mechanical like sniff, but it's not bad enough that you can't eat your food. I haven't tried to exchange or send back this product b/c I don't want to have to pay for shipping etc. (the lawful side works) and I haven't contacted amazon or the sender about it. I would suggest buying it from a local outlet if you can find it, in case you have the same problem, which is seems as though it's possible!!
Bilk You Mcmuffins
Looking for an easier way to like a "fast food" breakfast without styrofoam eggs and plastic cheese? This thing is a gust, easy to clean, cooks eggs perfectly over-easy or Hardboiled it does it all! The only downside is it isnt the most vigorous toaster, i find that it struggles with thick crumpets or english muffins, but with a thin slice of wheat toast it turns into a oven and burns it to heck! So be wary of doneness settings on the bread but otherwise prepare for a home fit to be eaten delicious breakfast sandwich that doesnt cost you 5-6 dollars.
Not so much
I've utilized this several times and plan on giving it away. What a mess! It's so much easier to get ONE pan out and you're done! All the little parts to bathe and it reallly wasn't that great. The eggs take longer than the muffin. Going back to just a honesty a possessions ol' toaster! Besides, this is huge on the counter!
One year later and it is still my illusion toaster
Besides our refrigerator and dishwasher, this is the most tolerant of appliance in our kitchen. We have owned it for two weeks short of a year and have enjoyed every moment. I feign anywhere from two to twelve slices of toast a day (our family has three growing boys) since we have owned it. I have also made poached eggs in it without number times and boiled all kinds of eggs (soft, medium, hard). I have also put english muffins, bagels, homemade currency slices, pop tarts, kaiser buns, hamburger buns, etc... in it. Short of knowledge the setting that works best for each thing, repeated success has occurred with each use. Here is my list of pros and cons:
Cons:
-When poaching offspring and making toast at the end of the cycle the toast is cold. (I fix this by waiting until the egg is done and then toasting my bread)
-When burning a large amount of eggs the water can seep out of the machine. (I just keep a towel handy and wipe it up)
-It is not always fun having to pure all the parts after cooking eggs. (This is more about my desire to eliminate work than the toaster)
-If not in use it needs to be unplugged. The egg part is slightly feel affection for to the touch even when it hasn't been used.
Pros:
-Makes bread very evenly toasted on both sides.
-Settings are very testy and give great amount of variance in darkness or lightness of toast.
-Toaster part is easy to clean with two removable bottom trays.
Other residents have had problems with the egg trays losing teflon. This has not happened to us at all. Generally that happens because of metal utensils imminent in contact with the surface like a spoon or a fork. You shouldn't use either one to get the eggs out. I spray it with provisions spray and flip it over and tap it on a plate. I have only had an egg stick once, and only part of it did. I always wash the trays by hand and use at the most a plastic scrubby to get filth off. Every time you cook an egg I recommend wiping it out before it cools down, it is a lot easier to clean when warm. I can't give any depend back on the return policy or customer service because I have never had a problem. I would recommend this product with out reservation.
back to basics tem500 egg-and-muffin 2-slice toaster and egg poacher
And you thought the drive-thru was fast! Make your favorite breakfast sandwiches — at home — in minutes. The Egg & Muffin Toaster brings innovation to the toaster category by combining the functions of a toaster and an egg poacher into one easy-to-use appliance. It even heats your breakfast sausage or bacon! The Egg & Muffin can be used solely as a full functioning toaster or poacher or can be used simultaneously to make the ultimate breakfast sandwich in just 4 minutes!. Simply add the necessary ingredients and start the machine…….. The toaster works fine, but the egg cooker went belly up within 3 months of purchase. Now the egg cooking/steaming mechanism does not work at all, not even slightly heating the water. Maybe I got a lemon, I’m going to try returning it for a replacement.
Edit to add: I found the warranty phone number for Back to Basics online (I’ve long since thrown out the box and packaging) and called them. They asked for some information from the bottom, for some personal contact info, and what my purchase date was (but did NOT ask for official verification of that!) and are sending a new toaster to arrive in 5 to 7 days! WOW! Now I’m just totally bowled over by the customer service! Yippeee, a week away from home made egg mcmuffins again!
My son bought me this Back to Basics toaster for Christmas several years ago. I LOVED IT! I, in turn, bought this one for a friend who was retiring, and who camps, hikes, climbs mountains, etc. HE LOVED IT! Unlike the fast food chains, you can precook the sausage and blot out most of the grease. With an english muffin, egg and sausage patty, it’s the best, and cooks while you are getting ready for work. Very novel idea!!!!!
This is a great device that doesn’t last very long. I loved using Morningstar Sausage/Egg muffin in the morning. However, I owned this product 3 times, and each time the device broke after about 40 uses (4-5 months). After the first breakage, Target exchanged it. By the second breakage Target had stopped carrying them. I bought my third from Amazon and now that one broke. I’m still within the 1 year warranty, but the time wasted returning these is not worth the time savings in the kitchen. What a bummer. I hope a more reliable company will make these soon.

NOTE: Regarding exercises with ranges, start at the minimum and as time goes on, captains will tell you when to amp it up.
A: Don't ask us, ask your fellow color guard members and any faculty advisers you may have. Personally I think if you try to drop this exercise regimen on these people every week during the summer you just might find yourself as a one person color guard when school starts. How about practicing in formation? What about teaching new people what these moves are and practicing with them? Just because you know all of this does not mean everyone else will. You can set a good example for everyone, and should have a plan in mind, but it needs to be flexible so that it doesn't lower the moral of your team by placing too many demands on them.
