Hamilton Beach toaster oven has Rapid Cook and Fan only. What is their purpose and when do you use each one?
Q: Rapid cook is convection cooking? Fan only just blows a fan with no heat that I could see? What is it used for? I had Rapid Cook on for 36 min for a 2 lb fully cooked Fiedler ham and only the outside was warm (18 min. per kg per cookbook or 2 lb). What am I missing? Temperature was 325 preheated according to cookbook instructions. Fan only baffles me.
A: The Rapid Cook function circulates air within the oven, yielding even results in a shorter amount of time.
A friend of mine also bought a Hamilton Beach Toaster oven with fan and rapid cook. He had to exchange it twice, because the oven never reached a temperature of 450
can you make lasagna in toaster oven?
Q: I have a Hamilton Beach toaster oven and it does a pretty good job for a decent toaster oven but i was wondering if it can make things like lasagna or baked ziti. I've tried baking a cake and it works well if i do thin layers and add it together into layers. But now i'm wondering if i can make a whole lasagna meal? Thanks alot :)

You would need to modify your recipe to fit in a dish that would fit inside the toaster oven though!
