KitchenAid KMTT400 4-Slice Toaster review at Kaboodle
The first thing you notice about the KitchenAid KMTT400 toaster is the striking color schemes it’s available in. This 4 slice is made of brushed stainless steel but has three different color options for the side panels: Stainless Steel, Onyx Black and Empire Red. We particularly like the Empire Red model for adding that splash of color to your kitchen counter! This toaster not only looks great, it’s pretty high tech as well. The KitchenAid KMTT400 features several innovative technologies including: * Even-Heat system that uses electronic sensors to precisely brown your toast just the way you want it. * Baker’s Bagel function which toasts the sliced side of your bagel and also gently browns the bottom. No more burnt bagel bottoms! Another nice feature is that the side panels feature Cool Reach technology – meaning that they stay cool so you won’t burn yourself while reaching for your nicely toasted waffles. Other features include extra wide slots (fit bagels, toast, pastries, waffles…you name it), self-centering racks, removable crumb tray, independent controls and an Easy Lift lever. Here’s the full feature list: * Model: KitchenAid KMTT400 * Stainless steel finish * 3 side panel color options * 4-slice capacity * Self-centering racks * Easy Lift lever cancels cycle and raises toast * Baker’s Bagel toaster setting * One-Touch “Warm” Button * Dual independent controls allow for toasting slots to operate separately * Easy-To-Operate Dial Shade Control with accurate setting stops * Even-Heat System sensor for precise toasting * Extra Wide Slots * Cool Reach Steel Side Panels keep exterior surface cooler * Durable steel toasting cavity for added toasting consistency * Removable Crumb Tray * Under Base Cord Storage * Silicone non-slip feet * Height: 8 inches * Length: 12-3/5 inches * Depth: 11 inches * Weight: 10 lbs * Warranty: 1-year hassle-free replacement See less »

Best Toaster?
After picking Krups Toaster FEM2B as the best toaster in this blog, I constantly received many complaints about the inconsistency of this product quality. Personally, my one work great, but other have totally different experience. In their emails, they said this Krups FEM2B can never toast bread or bagel evenly. Well, I think it will be too much of the risk for my readers to buy or me to recommend the Krups FEM2B as best toaster anymore after receiving all this bad feedback.
Anyway, after recommend few good toasters, there is one particular toaster that has received very good feedback from our readers – KitchenAid KMTT200OB 2 Slice Toaster . So here is my new recommendation for the best toaster – KitchenAid KMTT! I guess what is important here is if you are looking for the best toaster that do the basic job well (toast evenly), you should check out this beautiful best toaster instead.
New Best Toaster – KitchenAid KMTT200
I’m not going to write too much details about this KitchenAid toaster here since I already reviewed it last year ( KitchenAid KMTT200 Toaster Review ). Anyway, this toaster is pretty solid and not to mention that it has 3 beautiful colors design to match your kitchen color for you to pick:)
I make my own bread, which of course varies in the depth of the slice. My husband is “Mr. Picky Unnie” about the bread being toasted evenly every time. Whew!!Anyway have your reviewed a toaster that is best for the home bread maker??? Seems all toasters on the market are suited to the “cardboard” tasting prefectly shaped sliced bread you can buy at the store.
Thanks for your reply
Connie, thank you for commenting. You can try the wide slot toaster, which might fit in all kind of varies in depth bread slices. Sunbeam has pretty good wide-slot toaster – Sunbeam wide slot toasters
